Our highly experienced eye surgeons have researched the technology in the world available today in order to provide suitable patients with greater freedom from glasses. They decided to bring the latest new generation Laser Eye Technology to George Surgical Centre. The Schwind Amaris 1050RS goes beyond LASIK performing Laser Eye Surgery using bladeless, flapless and touch-free surgery.
Orthopaedic hand surgery
Our surgeons treat all conditions of the hand, wrist, forearm and elbow, as well as peripheral nerve conditions. Both Dr Pelser and Dr Jordaan have been overseas to further their studies completing various hand surgery fellowships at highly reputable orthopaedic hand units in the United Kingdom, before coming to George. Dr Pelser and Jordaan established Garden Route Hand Unit in 2016, the first of its kind in the area.
